The spelling programme is good for people who aren't already doing it.

There isn't a guide.
It isn't too bad finding your way around but it could be improved.

You have to go through everything to find what you want. It needs more sound and pictures, it doesn't read out the choices in the rooms so you have to guess. Perhaps there should be a tape with it or a book with pictures that you could use with it.

It isn't easy to find what you want but, once you're in an activity, the guide is speaking and it's easier to use.

It does explain the spelling programme but it does use big words.
There could be more down to earth explanations.

 

 

 

In memory techniques there is no voice guide to the options so you have to go through everything.

Cost: £85 + VAT. + p+p Personally I wouldn't buy it because it's not that useful to me. However, if I didn't know anything about dyslexia, then I think it would be worth buying.

a) The 'Spelling mystery' words are too hard. You need to look at the word first. It's no good just hearing it.

b) The moving face is very distracting. You tend to stare at it and not listen to what the voice is saying.

c) There needs to be an 'ear' button to read all the writing. There needs to be a mindmap layout and colour coded routes. This would make it easier to find your way around.
