What is the video about?

It's about a group of adults talking about their problems with dyslexia and about what they felt when they were diagnosed. It shows there are people out there laughing and crying about their experiences in school and with life in general.

What are the best points about this video?

It gives you a true to life picture of being dyslexic.

Could anything have been changed/ made better?

They could have spoken to family and friends of dyslexics.

Who would this video be good for?

Parents of dyslexic children would benefit from watching this video.

It would also be good for newly diagnosed dyslexics who have not been able to speak to other adult dyslexics about how they are feeling.

Any other comments?

The video made me wonder about the kind of education we are all given. I feel we live in a world where people are taught everything except imagination. Instead they are taught to bend words, grab at statistics and jump on the nearest gravy train!

School is supposed to prepare you for life. It should build you up, but instead it sets you up to fail. Dyslexics leave school with low morale, low self-esteem and emotional scarring. You leave school knowing that you've failed everything that's been put in front of you. What a fantastic future horizon!
